“Puppy Dream Team” Class
For Puppies from 3 to 8 Months of Age
Is the clock running down on your patience?
Time! (whistle) Time to team up with your pup to swish puppyhood and prepare to slam-dunk adolescence! Learn easy games and exercises to get puppy’s attention and make your time together more fun, and help support puppy in challenging situations. You’ll be the most coordinated team on your block!
Up Your Game:
- Become your puppy’s MVP – so they’ll hang with you anytime, any place!
- Speak your puppy’s language – are they having a ball or could they use a pep talk?
- Play defense for your puppy when they have the jitters.
- Get exciting things away from your puppy without committing a foul.
Team Drills:
- “Muppet Recall” (silly, fun, & works now!)
- Greeting strangers
- Visiting the vet
- Avoiding temptations on walks
- Socialization activities & body language lessons
- And more!
When is the class?
Puppy Dream Team is offered every Monday evening from 7-8pm.
The class is open enrollment, so you start whenever works for you and attend 5 times in a row.
Where is it held?
Class is held at the Animal Behavior Wellness Center in Fairfax, VA.
Meeting at a veterinary behaviorist’s office means we clean with veterinary-grade disinfectant and your puppy will learn fun stuff happens at the vet!
How much does it cost?
Tuition is $330 and includes a 45-minute private orientation and 5 one-hour group classes.
Do we have to use treats?
Treats and Triumphs… treats… kind of a package deal!
And you’ll need something super exciting to motivate your puppy around the new smells, sounds, and puppy butts in class. Since we don’t endorse the use of fear or pain in training, food is generally where it’s at!
Is the teacher scary like my old coach?
We train force-free, which means no screaming coaches here! Your team’s camaraderie will come from the thrill of celebrating your mutual accomplishments.
Do the puppies play together?
Puppy Dream Team does not feature group puppy play. Our goal is to get your puppy engaging with you – regardless of what other exciting hoopla is happening in the environment.

But my puppy isn’t fully vaccinated yet…
No prob, Bob! We follow the recommendations set forth by the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior: puppies should receive a minimum of one set of vaccines at least 7 days prior to their first social and be kept up-to-date on vaccines as long as they are attending. Puppies over 4 months must have also received their rabies vaccine.
